Hi, I'm Maddie Hodgson. I grew up in the middle of suburbia Utah and loved every second of it. The oldest of five (and the only girl!), I learned from an early age that the only way to truly calm a restless heart was to escape into a good book.
My mother instilled within me a burning desire for good stories. She told us stories, read us stories, and encouraged us to make up our own stories. Growing up was magical. I never really lost that way of life, either. I lived in the thousands of worlds tucked inside my brain, and spent my high school years bleeding them out onto eager pages. I was published in school magazines and ended up helping to edit those magazines before I left the 11th grade.
I am a member of the Utah Freelancer's Association, I've worked with digital marketing companies and solo authors alike to produce well-written Internet copy and manuscripts, and I currently work a second full-time job as a mommy to a beautiful baby girl.
I specialize in novel and academic editing. Please see my services and rates pages for more information on editing.
